Wednesday, Brian Waters hosted his annual punt, pass, and kick competition for people with special needs at the Chiefs practice facility in conjunction with the Special Olympics. Waters has hosted the competition since the departure of former Chiefs fullback Tony Richardson, who gave the event its start in Kansas City.   Full Story

Coaches and players always say they play the season one game at a time. They all say they don’t look ahead on the schedule. Tom Coughlin always says the next game is the most important game. While that type of logic is usually a good idea for players and coaches, there are those in the organization who do not and should not follow that line of thought.   Full Story

For the second straight game, the Giants suffered multiple injuries to prominent players. No, they didn’t exactly lose their starting QB, RB and RDE, like they did during the season opener, but watching Plaxico Burress limp into the locker room with a sprained ankle shortly before halftime couldn’t exactly have been construed as good news for Big Blue.   Full Story

Sure the Giants, with an 8-8 record and another playoff loss, clearly did more than enough to warrant an extension for coach Tom Coughlin. Yeah, sure they did. However, everyone knows that Coughlin’s roster, which was often decimated by injuries, was one of the main reasons that Big Blue struggled mightily this season.   Full Story

Tiki Barber was selected the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for October. The two-time Pro Bowl running back helped the Giants go 4-0 last month by rushing for 490 rushing yards on 102 carries (a 4.8-yard average) and catching 13 passes for another 100 yards.   Full Story

While Chris Snee returned to practice on Thursday, don't expect to see him in Sunday's starting lineup against Philadelphia. Snee participated in individual drills, but not the team portion of practice and is still listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
