PHOENIX – Here are a few of TGI’s thoughts on Super Bowl eve...
This spygate thing is really starting to make the Pats sound like a bunch of arrogant cheaters. It’s no wonder that America has basically adopted the Giants as its rooting favorite. Now the news out that the Pats might have taped the Rams’ final walk-through before New England’s first Super Bowl victory really has the league on its ear. Boy would it ever be funny to see the Giants bring the Pats and their pursuit of perfection crashing down…
Adrian Awasom should be ashamed of himself. Listen, he’s a very nice kid and obviously got caught up in the Super Bowl excitement, but how in the world can you allow yourself to be in that situation in the first place? I believe in innocent until proven guilty but usually when you’re arrested on charges of not only DUI but extreme DUI in one of the nation’s strictest states regarding DUI you’re probably going to pay the price. The Giants have been fighting to keep their image clean all week to begin with; now there’s no doubt the entire organization looks extremely foolish. Allowing injured players to come out to the game is a privilege to said players; being repaid in this fashion, where you’re forced to send Awasom home, is certainly not the thanks New York was looking for…
The Giants can win this game, but they’re gong to need just a little help from the Pats. This isn’t exactly breaking news, but if the Pats are on their game, they’re not going to be defeated. But if the Giants can offensively run the ball successfully and work the middle of the New England defense and the defense can bend but not break and keep
Tom Brady
and Co. from making big plays, it just might happen…
Enjoy…
